Int Ch Corydon Augustus Caesar.

Born 6/1/1980
Sire :- Ch & Aus Ch Little Caesar at Corydon – Dam :- Corydon Polly Tucka
He was a wonderful dog but very unlucky. Among his many wins in this country he was Reserve Best in Show at the National working Breeds Ch show on the 18/7/1981. The breed judge was Mrs S Eliston and the Best in Show judge Mr R M James. Several judges at the ringside thought that he was good enough to be the top dog all breeds soon. But the following week he broke one of his toes. The vet set it but did a bad job and the toe had to be taken off. Obviously he was slightly lame after this so we sent him to some friends in Norway. They showed him to his title in that country. Betty Eglin even awarded him the top prize. While there he produced one of the top winners of all time in Sweden.
He mated a few bitches here and when he mated Ch Corydon Glory Hallelujah it produced DK Ch Corydon Symbol of Glory that was the World Winner bitch in 1989.
He was a dog that I was very proud of. Such a pity about his toe because he could have won the lot.
