He won well as a puppy then he broke his hock. He was out of the ring for about eight months. His first show was Paignton where he won the Post Graduate Dog Class. He was then awarded the Reserve Dog CC. Since then he has won 3 Special Yearling dog Classes at Ch Shows. He won the Dog CC and Best of Breed at the LKA show on the 13th December 2024. The breed had by far the largest entry at the show on the day. He was described by a very experienced breeder from another breed as A ONCE IN A GENERATION DOG. For me he is the best I have ever seen.
This is the critique by the judge at the Birmingham National Show for Corydon Cristopher. It is the best I have ever had for one of my dogs. But he is the best Rough Collie I have ever sen. In fact I think that he is probably the best dog of any breed I have seen. I cannot fault him. He is the perfect dog. And his temperament is wonderful as well.
“Here stood all I was looking to find & filled my minds eye as to the combination of classic breed type with structural functionality, fabulous headpiece with its expressive features, so clean cheeked with parallels down to a strong underjaw. So balanced so well angulated slight rise over the loins a correct “shake and dry” working coat with mane. His movement took everything up a notch & never faltered with its breed specific accuracy and effortless strides. Dog CC (his second) & BOB. Did the breed proud in the Group where he continued to perform to the absolute max”.
