She was my special favourite. She unfortunately lost an eye soon after birth due to an infection. So she was never shown, but she had a most successful career as a dam. She produced 24 puppies. These included the famous Ch & Aus Ch Corydon Tuck’s Tiger, NU Ch Corydon Augustus Caesar and NU Ch Corydon Tuck’s Fizz who was Top Winning Collie in Norway in 1982 & 1983.

Her litter sister was Ch Corydon Polly Hera but Tucka was much the better Collie and if she had not lost an eye I am sure that her wins would have made her very famous. As it is her children did that for her.

I have put her in first, because she was a wonderful brood bitch. She liked nothing better than looking after baby puppies. She gave birth to and reared 47 puppies in 7 litters. They included Corydon Old King Cole (1CC), Corydon Quo Vadis, sire of Ch Corydon Qui Vive, and Corydon Cornflower who had a wonderful breeding career in Germany, being the Dam of 2 famous Bienenfleis Champions.

Tammy (her pet name) did not win big, but she is remembered as a wonderful pet.

She was hardly shown, but was a great dam. Among her offspring were Int Ch Corydon Carruthers,Sire Corydon Caruso. Int Ch Corydon Star Macadam, Int Ch Corydon Tiger Tops, Ch Corydon La Stupenda and not least Corydon Little Red who had a big influence on the Rough Collies in Finland and Eastern Europe. The sire of all these was Ch Corydon Gold Spur.
